Main topics of interest: Storage systems, memory hierarchy, operating systems (for different applications lying from embedded systems and IoT to Cloud, HPC and data bases).

I am currently an Associate professor at the University of Western Brittany  in France where I joined the MOCS (Methods, tools, circuits and Systems) team of the CACS (Communications, Architectures, Circuits et Systems) pole of the Lab-STICC lab (pastly known as Architectures and Systems team of the LESTER laboratory) in September 2006.

I also work for the IRT b<>com research institute since 2013 around one-day a weak on Cloud related topics (especially storage systems).

Before joining this team, I was (from 2004 to 2006) a temporary research and teaching assistant at the University of Versailles Saint Quentin En Yvelines (in France) at the PRiSM laboratory in the ARPA team.

From 2000 to 2004, I have been a PhD student at the PRiSM lab with the Professor Claude Timsit, where I have worked on the benchmarking, the mtodeling and the simulation of PC storage systems (summary of the PhD thesis*) after having done my second Master year at the same university.

From 1994 to 1999 I have been a student in the National Institute of Electricity and Electronics (I.N.E.L.E.C) that became part of the University of Boumerdes in Algeria where I have graduated as an engineer in Electronic science with honours.... want to know more? just email me !
